| QUOTE (Mastro 666 @ 2/9/2021, 21:23) Y me topé con este skin del nivel de esquí cuyo autor no recuerdo: Right there, Grasslands of Gore : https://rr2000.cwaboard.co.uk/carmageddon-2#tracks
And yay for another lame russian modpack, mashing random stuff together, can't even credit authors properly... |

| Coffeycup/Dozon teamwork, can you imagine that
Dunno about you, had an error message upon choosing the truck complaining about the model. I ran the DAT file through PT2's optimize and error-checking functions and it fixed the problem: www.mediafire.com/file/cvzgwk7nw9091eo/LUNTAI.dat/file
Also not using FRWHEEL.ACT identifiers etc anymore? That prevents the wheels from wobbling when damaged..!

| QUOTE (Mr.Hammond @ 20/6/2021, 16:46) What do you mean exactly? That car model you showed relies on realtime shading to detail the car's geometry (exposed parts, angles, etc), in opposition to having that lighting/shading baked into the textures. In this case the texture for the shell is probably all white, which would just appear all white as well if put in C1 without any kind of modification as C1 uses fullbright materials by default. A C1 shade table wouldn't work too well as it offers only 4 steps fro shading (and doesn't work in DOS Carma IIRC). A detailed C1 env map texture could work but you'd have to remap the shell properly and decals could be a pain (like the dirt under the doors etc).
QUOTE (Mastro 666 @ 21/6/2021, 02:13) Unos coches que extraje del Rocket Car Ball: Those are cute even if a bit exaggerated Too bad they got no interiors, they could have fit TDR2000 as well |
