We played C3 (Max Packs) over the Internet (Hamachi) and in LAN (also Hamachi), but we stopped at the moment we figured out how to get C1 running LAN on modern machines. The Pontifex Arena is a SplatPack map from Network Mode "Carnage Accumulator" (originally called Figure of Hate) added to the other Network-modes. It was renamed, because there is another map (very similar) also called figure of hate. So basically you can use 5 Arenas now (sumo, colliseum, "figure of hate/ponti.Arena", zebra croosing and unfair funfair).
We played Checkpoint Stempede yesterday... I´ll post an (amateur) video soon.
I´m greatful for any idea how to record a video with better quality than filming the screen. I wasn´t very successful with fraps (on Win7) so far...

Well the levels Hollowood and Stunt Park 8 don´t work for Network Racing because they have no checkpoints.

That´s true, but we love Racing most
For the other modes (e.g. Fox and Hounds) you have almost 5 arenas now (counting your funpark map as an arena). Playing Car Crusher, D2D or Fox´n Hounds on the other maps isn´t all that great I think.
The racing order is a little bit different in the pontipack, so the 5 arenas will be the first maps. We also removed some maps who weren´t very network-Race-friendly.
For the C2 conversion-maps, it´s important to set grit-start in Network options, otherwise cars spwan somewhere in the air...
Carnage Accumulator isn´t worth playing, ´cause the pedestrian counter only works properly for the Host.
Pontipack also works via Kali over the internet, but it syncs only have of the time. So it´s funny, but not very competetive
So the next project will be to set up a nice running Internetgame... ideas are more then welcome!

I forgot to add the network start points, is very easy to place the coordinates manually:

hola muy buenas a todos, asesinos con ruedas ....
el caso que me paso a mi..
tengo dos pc en uno me ejecuto perfectamente y a la primera y en el otro no hay manera me pide noseque del directX..
los dos con win7

da mas datos. Por ejemplo que haces para ejecutar los juegos. Desde el Carmageddon.bat en ambos pcs? . -

si ejecuto el mismo archivo el .bat y en un pc me arranca perfectamente y en el otro se sale y me sale una advertendia de directX

prueba en el que te falla a ejecutarlo con d3d windower, hay un tuto y descarga en la primera página. o pon un archivo llamado ddraw.dll en la carpeta del carma, aunque esto ultimo en realidad nunca haría falta, no se porque te lo pedirá. Tal vez el bat esté mal hecho. Di que pone, Click derecho y editar y sale. . -

de echo me a desaparecido la barra de inicio de windows y los iconos del escritorio
El archivo .bat termina el proceso de explorer para mejorar la velocidad del juego, algunos también comentan que soluciona ciertos problemas gráficos. La opción la podés cambiar al editar el archivo con click derecho. Esta info fue postiada anteriormente, fijate en los primeros post del topic.. -
