    Un preview del mapa Endless Hate, contiene algunas animaciones y groovidelics, si ya sé que carece de peatones, powerups, copcars y demás pero bue es un puto beta. Costó bastante pulir este mapa de ps1, sobre todo por los cambios que tuve que hacer con las texturas. Sigo pensando que este mapa supera al circuito del Splat Pack en cuanto a uso de texturas y diseño, lo único que le juega en contra es el tamaño, pero tampoco es tán pequeño.

    Cool, The third 8 like track :D

    MC1SEP3 UPDATED:

    - Slaughter City (2) PSX track added (exported from PSX version by Errol, optimized and converted to C1 by Mastro)
    - 8 PSX cars added (exported from PSX version by Errol, optimized and converted to C1 by Toshiba-3), all set to stealworthy, default interiors for 320x200 set, F-08 [van.txt] doesn't drive backward anymore
    - Caricons modified for new PSX cars (new colors for build-in add-ons)
    - optional HD Test 720p and 1080p (by Hifi and Toshiba-3) for all gore levels added (due to unstability 25 bru hack is disabled)
    - external huds for HD Test are set for all present cars
    - shortcuts and batch files for HD Test added
    - bug fix: shortcuts are no more removed when zombie or robots are already installed, but not set to install
    - colorfix changed and updated to match other of my projects and to work as global
    - keyboard schemes for Arrows and WSAD are added as default for configurations C and D (need to be reset to default to use)
    - keys.txt default controls help added (with shortcut)
    - keyboard layouts setting added
    - softrndf.bdd updated to 95 version
    - bug fix: zombie version do not need to be installed... even once...

    Note: Included HD Test replace previous HD Supplement.

    Warning: Remember install to fresh installation of SE 1.2.0.0 or on previously updated, but without any other modifications!

    Text changed above (a bit different) and on CWA. I will change this in readme later...

    Looking at the cars from PSX there is one unique missing - "General P. Ram" - it's similar to Ram Rider from SP, but isn't.
    The other interesting thing is "decoration" car - with "Karma" on it showel (similar to "Gotha!")
    Another, but less interesting is "Junior" - a half size (?) Monster Masher.
    Other cars are simplified and one (Eagle) is based on C2 version, but this is obvious...

    He creado una pequeña utilidad con AutoIt basada en el DXWND que es un programa que al igual que el D3DWINDOWER fuerza el modo ventana solucionando el problema de los colores.

    El tema está en que este programete tambíen admite el modo pantalla completa emulando los directx antiguos también solucionando el problema de los colores, por tanto posteo esto como otra alternativa para que lo probeis y veais si os funciona para así integrarlo dentro del mod (si es del gusto de Mastro, porsupuesto).

    El programa en cuestión da a elegir al usuario entre jugar a pantalla completa o en modo ventana solucionando en ambos casos el problema de los colores sin recurrir a los bats o instalar las claves de registro, además esta es la única manera en la que he podido hacer funcionar el juego en Windows 10 ya que con los bats da error de directx.

    En fín, en el zip hay una carpeta llamada dxwnd y un .exe que deberán ir descomprimidos dentro de la carpeta del special edition, en la carpeta source he adjuntado el archivo del script para quien desee darle una mirada con el AutoIt o modificarlo.

    @Kalcos Ese launcher me dió varios errores: fallas de colores, la versión windowed no me anda y la última vez que lo probé me congeló el teclado y tuve que reiniciar la computadora.

    La falla está, ahora que lo he revisado en que el wrapper que se abre no está activo puesto que la ruta a la que apunta no es la correcta. ve a la carpeta dxwnd y abre el dxwnd.ini y las rutas serán del tipo C:\Juegos\Carma95 pues es donde lo tenia yo.

    Solo hay que cambiar esa por la ruta donde tengas el carma y ver si realmente funciona, ya digo que no tengo ningún problema con ese wrapper y funciona perfecto en ventana y a fullscreen.

    Si va, actualizo el script para que el solo cambie la ruta por la correcta.

    It mean the patch doesn't search anymore for the demo files when zombies are not set to install (it was bug).
    So link for the demo should stay as optional for zombies (as it should be since patch version 3.2).

    Bad news: as I tested years ago, there is possible to add max. 85 cars (for both modes to be playable), so we have just one free slot for car to add.

    The new patch version install / uninstall (as option) colorfix for regular and 64 registry.
    Reg files are for regular version, but maybe Windows 64bit it self installing them in 64 bit branch too? (I don't have hardware / software to test)
    Is this build in colorfix working? If so why to search for other solution, when this is so easy to apply?

    For "kill explorer" shortcuts starting the batches.
    The shortcuts for "regular launch" hires mode just starting execs directly.
    BTW: "-hires" parameter is not necessary for current exec, but leaved to keep compatibility ("-lores" can be specified for lores mode now), also batches are for compatibility and for stand alone version.
    I think colorfix may work only when execs are running directly?

    For Meld Pack Toshiba-3 recommended and set ddraw.dll from Hifi's package (other dlls may crash under recent Windows), so it can be set from Meld Patch Patch. This basically working well, but flashing on start and crash when Alt+Tab is pressed in full screen mode (only).

    Put game to path like C:\GAMES\SPECIAL\ is a good idea, because Carmageddon is designed to work with DOS, so the patch should match the 8dot3 standard. New Windows may have disabled 8dot3 standard names creation, so the longer file names doesn't have 8dot3 equivalents on the drive and DOS version can't run (cant find the path), also the whole path length must be short - not longer than 50 characters total, also there should be not too much "\" levels.

    So when you will create new setup please set path to short ;) .

    It's important when user want to add 3dfx / DOS files (which working well with patched Special Edition).

    I will try your solution... soon.

    PS. Why are you guys not playing Special Edition in network mode when it's fixed?
    I saw screenshots with regular C1 + new cars, with broken icons in play, but not the Special Edition fixed version... (only some custom maps for "checkpoint run" game mode crashing, due to missing checkpoints, but this should be easy to fix for Mastro... ;) )
