Hey, my mom and dad are thinking about windows 10 for me, and I want to ask you guys,
PLEASE... Tell Me it's Possible to run Carmageddon 1 Special Edition 1.2 on Windows 10!
Also Carmagedit and Plaything2.
P.S. Can Win10 run Zdoom 2.7.1 and Doom Builder 2?

I dont know about plaything2, however the others can run on W10.
For C1 Special Edition you will need a ddraw wrapper for run it like hifi's one, dxwnd or d3d windower.. -

Ok. I took the files to my Carmageddon 1 Special edition 1.2 and ran it on a friend's Windows 10 Computer through a flash drive.
Here is the result:
Carmageddon 1 Special Edition did not run.
Activates game, nothing happened.
Any explanation?. -

As Kalcos said, C1 runs fine on WIN10 with hifi's ddraw wrapper, just grab it on RR2000. CarmagEdit works here with compat set to win95. PT2 works when set to run in 8bit color depth mode. Carma2 works with a glide wrapper, might have to remove winmm.dll from the Steam release.
If C1 doesn't run, just insist ; it's an old game and other stuff might prevent it from running. Try Steam or GOG release, the Meld Pack, running it from a shorter path, with different compatibility settings, if winmm.dll present remove it, etc.. -

also: whenever you take Carmagedit with you... ALWAYS remember to bring 'MSVBVM50.dll', Unlike me.
