| HAHAHA OH WOW Awesome workaround, really brillant. I see you also figured the vertex colours, this should be easier to create shading, but the overal light setup in Max can be a chore. It's however thus possible to create light sources for neons, lamposts etc. As implied, that works on cars too but the colour seems diffused differently.
Speaking of scripts, when you right click on selected components, you've got scripts to split elements per smoothing groups and mat ids. Very handy too as it prevents losing smooth/hard edges when you export to TDR. |
